• Coordinating with other departments such as accounting to ensure that invoices are processed accurately
• Scheduling overtime to meet deadlines or special projects as needed
• Conducting training sessions on proper safety procedures and new technology changes to ensure that employees are keeping up with procedures
• Monitoring employee performance to ensure that targets are met, corrective action is taken when needed, and that employees receive praise when they do well
• Overseeing warehouse operations including inventory control, shipping and receiving, and maintaining records of transactions
• Managing a team of warehouse workers to ensure that all orders are filled accurately and on time
• Communicating with suppliers about product availability and pricing information
• Assigning tasks to employees based on their specific job responsibilities within the warehouse
