Job Summary
IBTE Institute, a leading educational institution in Dubai, UAE, is seeking an experienced and highly qualified Computer Science Instructor with a Master’s or Ph.D. in a related field to join our dynamic team. The instructor will play a critical role in delivering engaging and high-quality courses aligned with the UK curriculum, specifically in Cybersecurity, Computing, and Software Engineering. This position requires a deep commitment to teaching excellence, curriculum development, and student mentorship.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver and facilitate lectures and labs aligned with the UK curriculum for various computer science courses, including Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, and Data Science.
Develop and implement a robust curriculum that adheres to UK educational standards and best practices.
Guide students in practical applications, particularly in programming languages such as Python, and advanced concepts in network security.
Provide support and guidance on assignments, projects, and assessments.
Create and refine teaching materials, assignments, and projects to ensure an immersive, hands-on learning experience.
Stay updated with advancements in technology to keep course content relevant and forward-thinking.
Actively participate in academic meetings, curriculum planning, and faculty development sessions.
Continuously seek improvement initiatives to enhance educational quality and increase student satisfaction.

Key Skills:

Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in higher education or vocational training, preferably with experience in the UK curriculum.
Proficiency in programming languages (Python and C# preferred), cybersecurity fundamentals, and practical experience with network security tools.
Strong understanding of industry standards in cybersecurity and computer science education.
Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken, to effectively engage and motivate a diverse student body.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and educational software for teaching and assessment.
