Job Description
Leading a team in structural detailing projects efficiently and accurately. Coordinating and interpreting the information from contract drawings for modelling and detailing.
Detailing steel structures (Erection and Fabrication drawings) and preparing Advanced bill of materials.
Using structural analysis and design software such as AutoCAD and Tekla Structures.
Creation of various reports and deliverables required for fabrication.
To prepare structural steel model and prepare drawings of anchor bolt layout, embed layout, main structural steel shop and erection drawings for their technical accuracy keeping the drawing standards required by each client.
To prepare erection and shop drawings as per design drawing details with the aid of AutoCAD as needed.
To prepare 3D models for contractors and client using Tekla Structures that shows complete information, in order to make co‑ordination between disciplines possible.
To prepare sketches for miscellaneous steel like stair, stair rails, ladders, canopy, guardrails etc. and to create fabrication drawings.
To lead a group of junior steel detailers by checking, verifying and scheduling the job efficiently to meet the deadline.
To prepare a list of questions and RFI’s for all missing, mismatching and conflicting information.
To review and update the shop drawings based on back from approval drawings to release the shop drawings for fabrication.
Eliminating back charges and ensure structural safety by providing proper inspection, error‑free and accurate solution.
Qualifications
Bachelor Degree, Diploma or ITI
Additional Information
Minimum 5-10 Years of experience.
Good communication skills.
Good Knowledge about AutoCAD, Tekla
