Intern – Product Support Engineer (Advanced Structures)
Collins Aerospace Dubai MRO is offering an Internship program for Product Support Engineering with our Advanced Structures business, based in JAFZA (Jebel Ali Free Zone Area), as unpaid Internship for a period of 3 months.
The Opportunity:
As a Product Support Engineer Intern, you will be supporting the Engineering functions and projects related to Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul of various Nacelle Components by utilizing technical skills, project management skills, support project timelines and deliverables.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receiving inspection of units / components and Damage evaluation
- Referring Technical data and providing Engineering Dispositions
- Creating Shop Finding Reports
- Updating Engineering data base
- Creating Inspection Records / planning documents
- Creating Repair Designs using Autocad and CATIA tools and their Documentation
- Supporting Engineering Process evaluation, Improvements and Audits.
- Developing Technical Data structure for easy access
- Developing Jigs and Fixtures and creating documentation
- Change Management of Technical Data
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Aviation would be preferred.
- No previous experience required.
- Knowledge in an aircraft/component maintenance environment is a plus.
- Sound communication skills to effectively liaise with peers and personnel from different departments.
- Demonstrate effective interpersonal skills.
- Good proficiency in the Autocad, CATIA, and Microsoft Office suite
