SUMMARY

This position will support field service activities including installation, repair, preventive maintenance, complete inspections, engineering change upgrades, training, etc. The position will require resolving technical problems, which will involve communication with OEM management and specialists in resolving technical problems and/or bringing problems to the design department’s attention. The position will also require ensuring adequate records of work accomplishments are maintained.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs all or a combination of the following:

Hands-on product support for B/E manufactured products installed at the Aircraft Manufacturing site and / or the customers location, to include the coordination of technical and installation support activities, facilitation of daily communications, and identification of customer satisfaction issues related to B/E products.

Investigates, coordinates and provides responses to customers regarding product support issues for B/E products delivered to the aircraft manufacturer in response to specific customer assignments.

Coordinates and works with the Groups Quality, Engineering, Program Manager and Product Support departments.

Coordinates and work with the aircraft manufacturer representatives to ensure that B/E products do not impact the assembly and delivery schedule of airplanes.

Performs other related duties as required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Two – five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, and fluently speak English, ability to interpret technical documents.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Airframe License is preferred.
