Clyde&Co Hiring for GCC Nationalisation Manager – UAE National Job at Dubai Full Time

The Role

We aim to attract, develop, and retain our local talent in alignment with growing national and business needs by improving our national’s experience across the entire Clyde & Co Journey.

This is a key role, and the successful person will work collaboratively across several HR functions including talent acquisition. The position will report directly to the Regional Recruitment Manager – MEA. This role will cover all of our nationalisation programmes across the GCC.

Key Responsibilities

Attraction & Employer Branding

• Create a strong external Clyde & Co Brand
• Build productive relationships with key National sponsors at universities
• Work alongside the recruiting team to ensure attendance at key university events
• Working proactively with the key universities to access, educate and onboard nationals into Clyde & Co through tailored events, learning sessions and engagements
• Build relationships and networks with nationals studying at overseas universities
• Building connections with relevant supporting government entities to map and connect with local talent
• Ensure that Clyde & Co have exceptional presence and attendance at events of strategic importance
• In collaboration with HR, develop a government and market engagement strategy with key nationalisation entities including MoHRE, NAFIS, EHRC, FYA.
• Build productive relationships with other corporates and government ministries with the aim of being seen as an employer of choice for graduates experienced hires.
• Work with the Clyde & Co marketing team to build the right collateral and social media presence to attract and engage with nationals.
• Work with the relevant internal stakeholders to raise awareness of the firm’s Nationalisation strategy through education sessions, events, and engagements

Recruitment, onboarding and offboarding

• Ensuring a streamlined transition in and out of Clyde & Co.
• Responsible for understanding and delivering the required hires based on any government legislation or direction in line with the Clyde & Co Nationalisation strategy
• Build and maintain a market map of nationals in key positions regionally
• Build and maintain pipelines of potential future National hires
• Manage the tracking and reporting of National applicants, and provide data and insights to help inform future hiring
• Build exceptional levels of knowledge on each practice group and business services department and be able to explain the advantages and benefits of each to National candidates
• Proactively search for national candidates that can be considered for roles across the business
• Coach candidates through the interview process, briefing them on interviewers and interview best practice
• Manage the whole offer process – calling candidate, negotiating agreement, issuing contract, tracking, and reporting
• Prepare nationals for the induction through regular ‘check ins’ and ensuring all local onboarding processes are completed
• Ensure nationals have a smooth offboarding experience, capturing any relevant insights during the exit interview and encouraging alumni relations

Post-Onboarding

• Ensuring an impactful and holistic experience at Clyde & Co by providing or signposting our national talent to the right support
• Using market knowledge and best practice, contribute as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on talent, development and reward initiatives focused on the retention and promotion for national talent.
• Be a point of contact for nationals and directing them to the relevant internal support
• Coaching and upskilling internal stakeholders where necessary on best practices for recruiting national talent.

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will be and possess:

• A bachelor’s degree
• Previous experience in attracting and hiring Emirati talent
• Demonstrated experience of interacting with all levels of management and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• High-level of confidence and enthusiasm
• Willingness to travel is essential
• Only UAE nationals will be considered for this position
