Cisco has embarked on a strategic journey to reach a new audience of software developers and grow audience and engagement with its existing DevOps and infrastructure engineer audiences.
As a Global Campaign Lead, you’ll own the developer audience campaign in priority corporate marketing campaigns. You’ll work in close collaboration with corporate marketing and communications, business units, product marketing, community, developer experience, analytics, and more to drive planning, align with stakeholders, and manage execution from initial concept through measuring success and optimizing performance.
The campaigns team is a new function, so you will play a pivotal role in building the foundation of this team and establishing new processes within the organization.
This is the right opportunity for a marketing leader with broad experience across content and channels, and who understands how to integrate a cohesive brand narrative across marketing tactics. You will have a track record of successfully managing complex processes across multiple teams and cultivating productive collaboration with various stakeholders to craft industry-leading marketing campaigns.
What you’ll do:
- Own developer audience campaign strategy and execution in corporate campaigns including setting objectives and key results, building and managing cross functional stakeholders to execute campaign components including audience research, messaging, demand gen strategy, content, creative, budget, and reporting.
- Drive the development and execution of “always on” marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness, consideration, and conversion
- Establish and maintain relationships with key internal campaign stakeholders, SMEs, field, partners, and other relevant GTM channels to ensure continual alignment on objectives, execution and optimization of campaigns.
- Drive Cisco Developer and Developer Relations brand awareness and engagement through internal and external campaigns targeting developer audiences and extended Cisco salesforce and channel partners.
- Establish, measure, and report on target KPIs and budgets for demand generation programs and campaign performance and ensure spend is allocated to the highest-performing tactics.
- Source and manage agency partners and contractors needed or delivering work for associated campaigns.
- Apply an experimentation mindset to marketing campaigns to drive, test, learn, and optimize. Continuously conduct A/B testing across all channels.
- Create and manage key partner relationships to maximize shared channel marketing opportunities executed in global campaigns.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build prescriptive persona-based buyer journeys as the foundation for campaign strategy, ensure proper messaging, timing, and execution of multi-channel campaigns.
- Partner with analytics to provide stakeholders with ongoing reporting, campaign insights and lead working sessions to identify campaign optimization opportunities.
- Drive and grow our event marketing program including pre and post event marketing campaign tactics.
Skills and knowledge you should possess:
- 12+ years of integrated marketing experience with a focus in SaaS
- Strong understanding of audience persona development, balancing both data-based insights and qualitative market research
- Exceptional communicator who is comfortable navigating large teams and operating cross-functionally
- Highly collaborative and a team player
- Strong in project management with the ability to coordinate multiple projects across various people and teams with deadlines and due dates
- Broad experience with content and marketing channels, including events, digital ads, CRM, and social
- Results-driven with ability to look at data and make inferences and recommendations
- Thrives in fast-paced environments
