The Engineering Manager / Senior Engineering Manager will participate in the development of the Cin7-Orderhive (Inventory Management Tool), which provides a complete solution to eCommerce sellers. The candidate will lead the processes, strategy and people leading agile teams and is expected to possess knowledge of the latest technologies, working in a complete and advanced DevOps environment, always seeking the highest quality of output.

Here’s what you’ll do in this role:
- Provide technical leadership to major projects of the Cin7 Orderhive product and also build and manage a team of 7-10 Engineering Leads and a team of top-notch engineers
- As the Engineering Manager you will manage teams towards product development goals, contribute to the product strategy and help develop your team professionally and with their careers.
- Create clear career paths for team members and help them grow with regular & deep coaching and mentoring.
- Perform regular performance evaluations and share and seek feedback.
- Operating with scale and speed amidst flux – there is just a lot happening

- Work closely with the Product Management, Business Development, Product Delivery and Operations teams and enable them by providing scalable and high quality technology solutions at a rapid pace.
- Work collaboratively with other Engineering Managers across the group to set up best practices for development and champion their adoption and at the same time with the architects (across the group) to provide architectural guidance & design ensuring technically robust, flexible and scalable solutions.
- Work with designers, business analysts, and product managers to estimate and plan projects in an Agile environment.
- Perform well in uncertainties and collaborate and work with unclear interfaces to other teams in our rapidly evolving organizations.
Here’s what you’ll bring with you:
- B.E/B.Tech or any other similar qualification with experience as a tech leader and people manager for at least 10+ years.
- Certified Scrum Master or SAFe and CSPO/PSPO (highly desired) will be considered as best fit for this position.
- Demonstrable experience on product engineering (you are preferably from a software development background) with a special focus on an e-commerce platform
- 3+ years of experience managing leaders of leaders.
- 5+ year experience of managing teams and delivering high-quality projects on-timeExperience with building, developing, mentoring and coaching teams to build the best technical talent in the Industry
- Experience with managing diverse teams and delivering high-quality projects on time
- Deep understanding of technology and architecture in a highly scalable and available setup
- Experience of managing any product with a Micro Service Architecture.
- Experience with Microservice and Event Driven architectures along with technologies such as Java/JS, ReactJS, MongoDB, Kafka, Snowflake etc. and their adoption into product development etc.
- Experience addressing the scaling-up of the product’s capabilities by adding right technology stack & setup infrastructure that is befitting to the product.
- Working experience of Amazon Web Services (and preferably Microsoft Azure) PaaS
