Cigna Hiring for QA Test Engineer Job at Dubai Full Time

Based in our Dubai offices and reporting to the QA & Test Analyst, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring on quality and on time delivery of test planning and executions activities in the delivery of Quality Assurance (QA) Testing for new or modified applications/systems within the Salesforce platform suite. The QA & Testing Analyst will be a high-performing individual who is methodical, inquisitive and has a passion for quality.

Working with our ME IT Team to deliver successful QA Testing in Waterfall and Agile Methodologies. You will work with individuals from across the world, with both in-person and remote teams, and with teams at varying levels of Agile Experience.

Main Duties / Responsibilities:
Establishing and maintaining a structured Test Regime

Test Estimation & scope definition / PI & Sprint Planning

Test Planning, schedule & delivery

Test Execution

Ensure quality and completeness of all Test deliverables

Support Agile Adoption

In-Sprint Testing focusing on Functional Test design, test development and execution

Participate in Sprint planning, feature / User Story definition, retrospectives

Work with Product Owners to define acceptance criteria for User Stories

Liaise & collaborate with Scrum Team to resolve any issues that arise from the Testing process

Analyze and Construct key test deliverables including test plans, test scripts, test progress reporting, defect logs/tracker and test completion report

Management of test environment(s) to ensure a sound baseline for assigned testing activity

Defect and Issue Resolution Management in line with test schedule timescales

Oversee Daily Reporting and management of progress, risks and issues

Stakeholder Management – ensuring key stakeholders are engaged and have full understanding of test process and procedures

Support the business in the delivery of UAT Testing and ensure Best Practice is adhered within related deliverables

Adhere to documented QA & Test governance and processes

Identify and support QA & Test governance process improvement

Ensuring adequate and correct use of testing tools and other key tools integral to SDLC process

Contribute to process improvements and support initiatives to drive greater maturity in process and best practice

Supporting all Post Implementation activities, as appropriate, such as Post Implementation Testing and Lessons Learned analysis

Support Training information/environment/data requests

Identify & Support Automation opportunities; looking at efficiencies in ‘In Sprint’ Automation as well as Regression as we develop our CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and at least two, typically five or more years’ experience in a system quality environment, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience

Broad knowledge of the Software Delivery Lifecycle with specific expertise of Software Testing

Proven experience of working within both an Agile and Waterfall methodology environment

Broad knowledge of automated testing and modelling tools

Great knowledge of change management and test case generation techniques

Good knowledge of different web browsers like Internet Explorer, Firefox, MS Edge, Chrome

Competent user of Microsoft office applications like Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Comfortable working independently, leading a team or as part of a team

Demonstrate accuracy and possess a keen eye for detail

Strong interest in personal development

Desirable Skills and Experience

Insurance or Finance business knowledge

ISTQB Foundation or Intermediate Certified

Knowledge of relational databases using SQL queries

Salesforce & Vlocity Technology experience

HP ALM, Azure Dev Ops – Test Plans
