Position: In-Store Trainer Middle East

Reports to: Training Manager

An In-Store Trainer delivers a variety of trainings. They develop resources and coursework material and reports to the Training Manager for the Middle East region.

The In-Store Trainer will spend most of the time on the boutique floor, training and coaching the sales team (collectively and individually), tracking best and worst sales performance based on KPI’s set by the company on a regular basis.

They will customize the training according to Dior guidelines and to ensure they comply with the regions Area Managers and Boutique Managers development plans for the employees.

Key responsibilities include:

Training:

• Develop, evaluate, design, and implement training and staff development programs.
• Deliver training to the team in the boutique.
• Support the staff with consistent qualitative feedback & evaluation for the performance improvement.
• Acquire multimedia aids and educational materials.
• Provide support to Learners in order to assist them in achieving their qualification.
• Follow up on training needs based on performance appraisals.
• Develop a framework for testing and evaluation of training program.
• Manage the training calendar and update training reports regularly.

Financials:

• Participate in forecasting yearly training needs and budget.
• Optimize the use of training budget.

Profile

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relative field
• Experience required: Minimum 3 years’ experience in a customer service field, preferably luxury Retail.
• Fundamental knowledge and skills in Training and Development activities.
• Ability to identify and satisfy the needs of internal and external customers, displaying commitment to meeting and exceeding their expectations.
• Ability to use computer software and applications.
• Ability to communicate and deliver thoughts and ideas effectively, using a variety of tools and mediums.
