​Charterhouse is working with a multinational, market-leading organisation within the transportation industry, who is looking for an experienced Psychologist to join their Psychology Department. The role will also work closely with the HR team providing psychological and clinical support to senior staff and management using researched methods to promote a healthy wellbeing and strong, happy working environment.
About the role
As the Senior Psychologist, you will work collaboratively with the Head of Psychology and Stakeholders to ensure you are using the most relevant testing tools.
Your main duties will include but are not limited to, administering psychometric assessments to the selective employees and ensuring all are appropriately screened from a psychological perspective.
The psychological support will begin at the stage of onboarding new applicants as well as studying behaviour of existing employees within the workplace, which will include conducting relevant psychometric testing, carrying out workshops related to psychological topics to selected employees, as well as offering short-term individual counselling where necessary.
You will also be responsible for providing key input into the behavioural interviews and assessments to ensure employees have emotional stability and a healthy wellbeing.
You will also develop team building exercises that are designed to improve communication, promoting a strong team work approach.
About you
To be considered for this role, the candidate must have a career history working within a similar position with a minimum of 5 years’ experience, providing psychological support which involves psychotherapy and behavioural therapy.
The ideal candidate should hold a Master’s Degree within Clinical or Occupational Psychology and a valid licence as a member of the British Psychological Society or American Psychological Association, ideally with a current DHA License.
You should be a compassionate and approachable individual with excellent communication skills, able to work well with others. You will be resilient, a strategical thinker with a can-do attitude.
