Charterhouse is currently working with a market-leading company in the construction Industry. Our client specialises in plastic piping systems and require an experienced Technical Sales Manager to focus on their operations in UAE.
About the role
The Technical Sales Manager will be reporting to the Regional Sales Manager. You will be responsible for dealing with customers within the construction industry and providing them with the technical specifications of the products you are handling. In doing so, you will also be part of the sales process by ensuring that your products are specified for the projects.
The main purpose of the Technical Sales Manager will be to develop and deliver sales across the UAE in order to fulfil the company’s strategic goals. You will promote the company’s products in order to meet and exceed the sales targets and you will also be responsible for persuading Architects, Engineers, and Designers to utilize your products for specified products.
Aside from the project-related sales, you will be required to develop relationships with distributors in order to increase sales from the distributor network.
About you
To be considered for this role, the candidate should be educated to a degree level ideally within an engineering discipline. The selected candidate should be able to read engineering drawings and have at least five years of experience in project sales within the construction industry.
You should also have a proven track record of selling technical products and possess excellent communication and presentation skills.
