Charterhouse are presently undertaking a search, for a leading services client, whom are in the process of looking to recruit an Analyst of Financial Reporting & Audit.
About the role
This role shall be focused towards the preparation and review of consolidated financial accounts and reports, at a group and business unit level, to ensure alignment to both corporate compliance and IFRS policy.
In conjunction, this Analyst shall also provide an internal advisory support to the business surrounding accounting procedure, financial reporting guidance and internal controls; to ensure strong compliance and audit trails whilst ensuring strong adherence to IFRS frameworks.
To complement any internal support, this role will also coordinate any regulatory reporting, combined with a focus to complete any audit planning along with the management of any external audit liaison points, to manage queries, audit filing or advisory inputs.
About you
Our client will look to recruit a professionally qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CPA type) with a background focused upon both audit and assurance functions and ideally from within a Big 4 practice; working at either a staff and officer level. The successful candidate shall be able to present up to 5 years of experience within this audit and/or compliance environment; whereby exposure to complex and internationally-focused audits, adhering to IFRS, are apparent and demonstrable within their career-to-date.
This role shall also demand a candidate whom is able to display strong, articulate and precise communication and presentation skills; to ensure financial and accounting support combined with the delivery of reporting packs to senior management across both functional and business lines. To support any financial reporting and adjustments, the client will also look for a candidate whom can demonstrate strong Excel capabilities used to develop and enhance reporting tools and any process improvements.
