As a Management Accountant, you will support the Finance and the management team of Canon Middle East by providing high quality financial analysis and timely internal management reporting. You will support the growth of business at Canon by developing standardized policies and procedures to improve the internal control environment, ensuring compliance with SOX and other regulatory requirements. Main proper books of accounts, as per IFRS/US GAAP.Preparation of monthly reporting pack and management accounting/reporting.In-Charge of Consolidation and Elimination of Group Accounts.Prepare & process various monthly journal entries prior to closing.Monthly Exchange Rate Updates.Submission of monthly results to Headquarters.Preparation of cash flow forecast.Monthly reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts to confirm completeness and accuracy assertion.Assist quarterly submission of VAT returns.Ensure strong internal controls to protect the assets of the company.Assisting in preparation of auditing schedules.Assisting in preparing internal audit workings & SOX testing.Coordinating across departments to resolve accounting issues.Managing the Master data for Accounting & Reporting tools.ReportingMonthly management report pack to management prior and post-closing the month.Preparation and full control of Annual & Semi-Annual budget preparations.Other ad hoc reports as requested by management & Headquarters.GeneralOffer support and guidance to other Finance team members.Liaise with IT department to develop reports in Orion system.Carry out other duties as assigned by management.What we askRelevant recognized formal qualifications (University and management accounting. E.g.
