Role overview

We are looking for an HR Specialist to join our team and monitor all Human Resources functions. HR Specialist responsibilities include preparing compensation and benefits packages, setting up company policies and maintaining updated employee records. To be successful in this role, you should have a good understanding of full cycle recruiting and solid knowledge of labor legislation. Ultimately, you will foster a healthy workplace by ensuring our HR procedures run smoothly at all times.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop Human Resource solutions by collecting and analyzing information; recommending courses of action.
• Maintain HRMS records up to date and compile reports from the database.
• Evaluate and up-date Human Resource standard work processes.
• Support a broad range of local and corporate strategic Human Resources initiatives to progress the Human Resource function within the team.
• Support all the people team country and regional Initiatives and Projects
• Partner with the benefit’s team and outsources benefits providers in assisting employees with questions and concerns regarding benefits and policies.
• Own all admin operations for onboarding & off boarding of employees.
• Inform employees about additional benefits they’re eligible for (e.g extra vacation days)
• Update employee records with new hire information and/or changes in employment status
• Forecast hiring needs and ensure recruitment process runs smoothly
• Develop and implement HR policies throughout the organization
• Process employees’ queries and respond in a timely manner
• Stay up-to-date and comply with changes in labor legislation

Ideal Candidate

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as an HR specialist
• 2-5 years of experience
• Bachelor’s degree. HR certification preferred

Knowledge and competency

• Minimum of 2-5 years of progressive experience with strong HR generalist background and deep knowledge of HR systems and processes.
• Solid understanding of labor legislation and payroll process
• Views HR as a customer experience center for employees.
• Strong understanding of industry HR best practices.
