Summary:

Interior Design Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire process of designing and building interior spaces and working with the stakeholders to determine the requirements and standards to create a plan that meets those needs while also staying within budget.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Requirements:

The Interior Design Manager will have an academic and/or applied background that includes the following:

• Preferably, at least 15 years of experience in the real estate industry, particularly in high-end residential projects and from diversified backgrounds, such as consultancy, contractors, developers etc., having completed a number of successful real estate development projects on time and within budget;
• Portfolio of design work;
• Project management experience;
• Experience with computational design;
• Highly creative, imaginative and artistic;
• Excellent communication skills, especially in regard to communicating an artistic vision;
• Hands-on experience with AutoCAD, Sketch Up, 3D Max, Illustrator or other design programs,

Responsibilities:

• Consult with the internal team, partners, governmental authorities and all other stakeholders to determine the best staging design to help ensure a quick sale of the property;
• Work with the project management team to coordinate construction/design project to deliver on time and on budget that meets/exceeds client expectations;
• Manage the process of furnishing and equipment selection, purchasing, and installation so staging is finished in a timely manner; and
• Expand knowledge of current design trends and innovative techniques and materials and implement them in each project.
