ByteDance Hiring for Privacy Operations Specialist Job at Dubai Full Time

Core Responsibilities:
– Work on TikTok’s Global Privacy Operations handling privacy-related queries from our users based in the METAP region.
– Partner with TikTok’s Office of the Data Protection Officer and Legal Team to resolve user queries related to privacy.
– Effectively identify and resolve problems and issues related to user-escalated privacy concerns.
– Participate in and/or lead projects to improve processes, procedures, and tooling that will allow the team to scale rapidly and sustainably.
– Work cross-functionally across the organization to solve problems.

Requirements
– Deep understanding of data protection laws in the METAP region.
– Fluent in written and spoken Arabic plus business-level English.
– A data privacy background with at least 4 years of PQE experience in privacy support, a DPO role, a privacy consulting role, or similar operations setting.
– Customer support experience in a fast-paced and specialized environment with a keen eye for detail.
– Possess an ability to assess risk and impact from a privacy and data protection perspective.
– Great written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
– Demonstrated ability to enable the growth of an operation or process-heavy team. – Able to work in a very fast-paced environment.
– Identify opportunities to improve processes and policies at scale.
– Identify and communicate emerging risks to management and cross-functional partners.
– Experience in an online moderation or trust and safety environment.
– Privacy Certifications such as CIPP/E and CIPM.
