Role Overview
As New Business Advisor, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding service to all new and existing Corporate, SME and Individual members of Bupa Global Middle East.
What you will do
- Process new applications, additions, deletions, transfers, reinstatement requests etc. from brokers and direct clients within agreed SLAs.
- Review any applications to ensure that key business and regulatory rules need are applied and request for missing or additional information needed for the application
- As and when required, submit tasks for the Underwriting team to complete.
- Set-up new SME groups and ensure that internal business rules and DHA/DOH regulations are followed.
- Communicate effectively between internal teams, ensuring that all group and members details are uploaded on to the OIC system directly when needed or via Data Governance Team.
- Answer both internal and external complex queries, demonstrating a high understanding of DOH and DHA regulations.
What you will bring
- Previous 2 years insurance experience
- Understanding of DOH and DHA procedures
- Experience within a team environment in a similar function.
- English is mandatory. Arabic bi-lingual preferred
- High standard of written and spoken English
- Experience in building a good inter-departmental knowledge.
- Excellent decision-making skills with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience of working with intermediaries in any industry desirable but not essential
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to process changes, plan and prioritise workload effectively and able to identify problems and resolve them.
- Advanced word processing skills, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
