Mission

Responsible of the Interior Design construction stages, on site works co-ordination and supervision to ensure implementation of corporate guidelines, according to the approved project. Monitor work status, timing respect, budget and quality, providing accurate information at the design stage and acquiring in depth technical knowledge (e.g. permit lead times, local norms), of particular requirements of the market of reference.

Main Accountabilities

• Responsible to be a local time keeper of the projects develop, a detailed project schedule in respect of the opening date, monitoring the project progress and quality (ensuring the respect key milestones).
• Support the Country Managing Directors in the brief preparation, performing technical surveys and information data package, visiting the new proposed locations for technical support and feedback.
• Research new suppliers, visiting offices and factories during the screening process, validating first samples, production check and first validation of the prototypes.
• Assist the bidding process; collect, verify and analyze price estimates from bid to change order requests, providing feedback about the legitimacy of change order requests during construction.
• Verify executive drawings package and prepare drawings/documents for local submissions process (landlord presentations and local authorities) and support all answers about store design and technical contractor’s queries.
• Verify local norms and regulations which must be respected and check the lease agreement from a technical perspective
• Ensure application of all safety criteria during construction, verifying that the general contractor respects all required insurance policy.
• Visit construction sites and supervise the works with high quality control, informing appropriate parties about any technical decisions/solutions during execution phase (renovation, maintenance, etc.) that could impact the aesthetic side. Verify of weekly contractor reports.
• Guarantee onsite inspection and presence at handover with preparation of detailed punch list forms and reports with follow up of suppliers within 30 days since the completion date.
• Ensure close interaction with Country Managing Directors and the retail team to keep the management constantly informed about the work progress providing detailed information about the project including an explanation of costs and timing to each Country Managing Directors.
• Responsible to prepare a maintenance key contact list, cleaning manual and start-up of maintenance contracts
• Coordinate offices, back-offices and storage fixtures, documents and other materials stock, in case of relocation or renovation.
• Manage local Interior Design budget and cost control ensuring accurate detailed information.
