• Analyze photographs, drawings and maps to inform the direction of projects as well as the overall budget constraints;
• Ensure project feasibility through continual evaluation of structural integrity and design practicality;
• Create designs that utilize a variety of materials;
• Perform and adjust quantity calculations for practical and budgetary purposes;
• Communicate with team members as well as customers and vendors to ensure maximum cohesion and fluidity on projects;
• Forecast design and construction time frames;
• Inspect project sites to ensure they meet relevant codes and are progressing properly;
• Manage, design, develop, create and maintain projects;
• Conduct on site investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings and other);
• Carry out technical and feasibility studies;
• Draw up blueprints according to technical specifications;
• Assess potential risks, materials and labor costs;
• Provide advice and suggestions to resolve problems;
• Oversee and mentor staff;
• Liaise with a variety of stakeholders;
• Monitor progress of projects;
• Produce reports in project status;
• Manage budget and purchase equipment/materials;
• Comply with guidelines and regulations including permits.

What you need to bring

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering;
• 8+ years’ civil engineering experience;
• SE license highly desirable;
• Extensive AutoCAD experience;
• Highly developed team management and leadership skills;
• Working knowledge of HydroCAD modeling;
• Proven working experience in civil engineering;
• Proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control, regulatory approvals etc;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
• Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar;
• License of professional engineer;
• Project management and supervision skills.
