Job Description
Main Activities:
Manage the processes and cashflows of people related costs for MENA countries, is the owner and focal point between HR and Finance business processes that impact payments, deductions, payroll, posting, transfers, reporting, support in budgeting and forecasting of people costs. Is responsible working in compliance with internal policies and local labor laws and regulations. This role will support in accurately resolving issues that result from changes in policies and/or payroll data in partnership with the HR team, while acting as a governance pillar to the company, driving quality in execution and providing data that is insightful for the business.
Job Description
HR Reports & Data Management:
Monitor internal HR systems and databases
Review and modify budgets in partnership with HR Head and HR PO Controller.
Design and implement company policies
Monitor key HR metrics for people budget
Ensure the optimum utilization of provisions, forecasts, and actuals by country.
Work closely with HR PO Controller to enhance the budget, forecast and deviation processes.
Payroll & Time Management:
The HR payroll team is responsible for many administrative tasks that keep the business running. These tasks include payroll management, staff data entry, and time & attendance.
Implements, maintains, and reviews payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions.
Ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay.
Ensure accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.
Ensures compliance with country and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
Monitor, and execute time attendance processing and interface with payroll. Maintain and keep track of employee leave records, accruals and accumulation.
Finance
Cashflow management – Ensures we are aligning with treasury team to follow the company cashflow process.
Posting – Responsible for the accounting posting, delivering accuracy in guidelines for booking, reversals and other WI developed.
Provisions – Ensures accurate and timely processing of provisions such as Gratuity, HLT and Annual leave.
Reconciliation – Payroll team responsible to do the monthly reconciliation for payroll records and employees outstanding balances
Job Responsibilities
Academic Background
Bachelor’s Degree in business administration of any related field
Desirable requirements
Requirements:
Degree in business administration of any related field
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in payroll and accounting
Excellent knowledge of local labor law for MENA countries and payroll regulations
Arabic speaker and fluent in English
Knowledge & Skills:
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines
Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written to employees at all levels
Maturity and discretion in handling highly confidential information
Willingness to work on a team and demonstrate sound interpersonal skills
Detail oriented with strong analytical skills
Customer service centric mindset to support the HR teams and other stakeholders.
Ability to perform complicated analysis like forecasting, cost simulations, impact analysis.
