An exciting opportunity has become available to join Boeing and Middle East Africa (MEA) HR team as a Senior HR Manager in Dubai or Doha or Riyadh. This is a great opportunity for a business-focused and dynamic professional who will be working with business leaders and HR CoEs in developing and executing HR plans and programs.

This opportunity can be based in any of the following locations: Dubai, UAE; Doha, Qatar or Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The Role:

Reporting to the Director, Human Resources, Middle East and Africa, the role will lead a team of HR Generalist professionals across the region located in 4 countries (UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey) supporting 19 countries and 700+ employees. The position works closely with and leads the team in collaborating with other key groups in the Human Resources organization, namely HR Generalists/ Business Partners, the specialized HR Centers of Expertise (COE’s), and the HR Services groups to deliver high quality, seamlessly integrated operational HR support for the business, the employees and leaders in the region.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide direction, guidance and leadership for the HR Generalist team to support world-class HR operational service delivery to businesses, managers and employees located in the Middle East and Africa region.

  • Contribute to the development of a culture of diversity & inclusion where employee experience is at the center of HR service delivery

  • Partner with regional and global HR team (HR Generalists/ Business Partners, specialized HR COE’s and HR Services) to help develop optimal HR support strategies, infrastructure and resources. Turn strategic People Plans into operational HR service delivery plans and actions.

  • In alignment with the HR Services teams, help support the delivery of key HR services (e.g. relocation support, benefits administration)

  • Work closely with HR COEs to provide input for the design of HR programs in specific areas (e.g., labor relations, talent, compensation, training), and to support the delivery of programs

  • Work with HR global process owners and experts to help define standard HR work processes and implement them in the region and wider international regions in line with all applicable laws and regulations

  • Implement a system of HR metrics to measure progress on goals and understand the effectiveness of support provided

  • Support the continuing transformation of HR via global HR process implementation and the HR technology platform, Workday.


Required Qualifications (Experience/Education/Skills):

  • Minimum 5 years of experience leading and driving people strategies, processes and key HR initiatives.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with Senior Leaders/Executives to establish strategic plans on objectives.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience working in a cross-functional environment with all levels in the business from individual contributors to executive leadership


Preferred Qualifications (Experience/Education/Skills):

  • Bachelor’s degree required or higher. Professional HR accreditation preferred.

  • A strong natural leadership style that moves people to act, motivates and inspires excellence and innovation

  • Proactively and quickly makes sense of complex issues; responds effectively to complex and ambiguous situations; communicates complicated information simply

  • A high degree of cultural sensitivity, ability to work effectively with multi-cultural and business teams, including remote-working teams.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Knowledge of Arabic speaking/writing skills is preferred.

  • Experience and understanding of working in the Middle East region.


Relocation:

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility. This position allows a hybrid (remote) work arrangement.

This requisition is for an international, locally hired position in Dubai, UAE (Doha, Qatar or Riyadh, Saudi Arabia). Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S.-based payroll, and will commensurate with experience and qualifications and be in accordance with applicable UAE law (Qatar Law or Saudi Arabia law).
