Boeing International Enterprise Services (BIES) provide internal services to >100 non-US locations, in 34 countries, ensuring safe, secure & compliant operations in an effective and efficient delivery model for our stakeholders. The team reports into Boeing International, supporting regional teams and works in close collaboration with Enterprise Services, Global Real Estate, Facilities and Asset Management, Indirect Supply Chain, Enterprise Financial Services, Security & Fire Protection, IT&DA and HR Services to deliver a global capability.
The BIES regional senior manager will lead our teams in Middle East, Turkey & Africa, a diverse region with business growth opportunities. The BIES regional leader will develop actionable business operation strategies and plans that ensure alignment with short-term and long-term business objectives developed with the country / regional business leaders; lead, integrate and enable the international operations in the regions, ensuring the team provides high quality and agile services and drives operational excellence with local diverse teams and partners.
Responsibilities:
1.Strategic Business partnering
Partner with Boeing International country presidents and various Boeing international councils to deploy organization vision, operational strategy, compliance and operational efficiencies
Develop actionable business operation strategies and plans that ensure alignment with short-term and long-term objectives developed in tandem with the country leaders
Lead the Management Operating System for the Boeing entities within the region, including general operating rhythm, to ensure broad visibility of in-country initiatives and objectives
Manage integrated project teams, manage large complex projects employing project management best practices, participate in developing the Boeing International market strategy, translate strategy into action through the five-year business planning process
2. Operational excellence and cost-effective operations
Lead high quality, safe and secure regional operations that enables business success and provides superior partner experience; focus on delivery excellence, flawless compliance and optimized cost, by ensuring correct process tools & training are in place
Lead the regional project management function for starting up new business, operations and capability, ensuring day-one success; integrate with geographical diversification, OBIP, coded project launch and new business enablement
Partner with finance teams to deliver cost effective operations – create strategic infrastructure plans, develop capital investment plans manage life cycle of capital assets and office property
Integrate an effective indirect supply chain capability, execute urgent and emergent procurements through a delegation of authority
Ensure a safe and sustainable working environment – promote positive workplace safety culture, drive sustainability, ensure compliance to local health and safety regulations
Integrate with enterprise security to provide a secure workplace – lead the response to emergency situations, ensure compliance to fire protection and first aid requirements
Skills and Qualifications:
Strong leadership experience in leading international and integrated cross-functional and cross-cultural teams
Strategic thinking and business acumen with proven ability to partner with senior executive stakeholders
Strong operational and financial management skills
Ability to convert strategy to action, simplify and standardize
Project management experience delivering complex projects with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams
Ability to manage a geographically distributed team
Excellent ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organization; ability to drive action and accountability in a highly matrixed global organization
Strong understanding of continuous improvement methodologies
Experience working abroad or in another international setting
Adaptability and learning agility
Experience of writing and presenting business cases
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Professional level fluency English
