Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for P&L of Abu Dhabi.
• Provide sales projection to management.
• Ensure strategic goals are met by setting operational policies, budgets, and managing staffs.
• Should ensure team is effectively promoting Company’s products and targeting the right customers.
• Build sales strategies and motivate the team to achieve the set goals.
• Work on customer retention strategy and implement the same.
• To ensure the better performance from the team by visiting branch offices and motivating them regularly.
• Responsible for all sales and business development duties including calling on accounts to increase revenue and profit.
• Responsible for managing and growing local sales, deep selling current local customer base.
• Responsible for selling logistics solutions to customers
• Responsible for creating new business through contact with prospective customers in the assigned market
• Responsible for identifying market trends and competitive rate actions and communicating those trends to the Product Group
• Responsible for other duties including: sales presentations, writing sales proposing, implementation, creating and adding to existing marketing materials
• Responsible for all functions and operations at the branch
• Responsible for credit management of customers
• Responsible for securing new customers and maintaining and developing existing accounts.
• Meet and exceed target set in terms of contributing and generating revenue for the department.
• Following up with the existing customers and converting it as business would be your main role and not lead generation.
• Conduct and report minimum number of sales leads set by the management and transform a minimum of those into revenue generating business.
• Maintain records of customer details / sales visits.
• Job opening & Closures
• Negotiate rates with shipping lines and quote the customer
• Follow up on customer communications in a timely and professional manner.
• Work closely with Operations and Documentation on the execution of customer service contracts.
• Promote the services and products of all entities, and coordinate sales efforts with other department sales.
• Follow up with clients for outstanding supported by the Finance Controller.

Required Skills:

• Must be well versed with nearly 6-7 years of experience in the Project Cargoes Sales and Operations know how including ODC/ Breakbulk/ RORO cargoes.
• Should have a Sound Knowledge of Project Cargoes Industrial Packaging and Lashing Requirements
• Should have good experience in handling UAE freight forwarders project cargoes enquiries and also International Project Forwarding Agents.
• NVOCC (Special Containers) Sales and Operations Knowledge will be a plus point.
• Open to Management Roles and Responsibilities including International Traveling.
• Good Written and Communication Skills (English)
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to sell customers with sales presentations
• Proactive approach to solving problem
• Team player with ability to work with cross-functional teams and all levels of management
• Ability to work under time pressures
• Polished communication skills
