Beond, a fast-growing leisure airline, is seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Junior Accountant to join our Finance team. In this role, you will support the day-to-day accounting operations, assist with financial reporting, and contribute to the overall financial success of the company. As a Junior Accountant at Beond, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, gaining valuable experience in the aviation industry.Duties and ResponsibilitiesAccounting:Hands-on experience with accounting software Oracle NetSuite in all modulesAdvanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tablesManage all accounting transactionsBooking of Accrual prepayment schedules and record in ERP on timely manner and monthly closing before the deadlineReconciliations:Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.Reconcile vendor and customer statements, resolving discrepancies promptly.Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.Assist in preparing quotations, purchase orders, invoices and receipts.Prepare and post journal entries in the system.Expense Management:Take a lead in bookkeeping by maintaining and updating financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process in the system.Process accounts payable and receivable transactions with accuracy.Audit Support:Provide support during internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to audit inquiries.Contribute to the implementation of audit recommendations and improvements.Financial Systems:Gain exposure to financial systems and software used for book keeping, accounting, Assist in data entry, reconciliation, and maintenance of financial records in Oracle Net Suite.Ad-hoc Projects:Contribute to special projects and initiatives within the finance department as assigned.
