Responsibilities:
The following tasks are typical activities which are included in this job:

Follow up and communicate regulatory changes related to Trade Compliance and customs.
- Supporting customers on various projects, mainly on tariff classification and duty optimization.
- Assigning tariff codes to products for our customers in various sectors, in the following countries/regions: EU, UK, Switzerland, according to the General Rules of Interpretation. Occasionally, supporting the classification of products for other regions.
- Determining the applicable duty rate and identify any special measures (for example: additional codes, possible licenses, etc.) applicable to the classification.
- Bi-yearly investigating the tariff changes to the regulations. Leading projects related to re-classifying customer materials when tariff codes have publish or changed.
- Developing and providing training to customers.

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in working experience.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in customs or trade compliance, basic knowledge around tariff classification is necessary.
- An understanding of customs and trade compliance terminology and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail oriented and results driven.
- Knowledge in SAP, ERP systems are an advantage.
- Computer literate in Excel, Word, PowerPoint (Microsoft Office Suite).
- Fluent in English, other languages are an advantage.
