Job Summary:

This role will be responsible for customs clearance and delivery of all impound cargo consigned to the particular customer as well as handling transportation of their cargo to
GCC Countries, this role will have an additional responsibility to handle the Air Freight and Sea Freight both import and export requirements of the customer

Essential Functions:

Customs Clearance:

• Responsible for the impound customs clearance ( Air, Sea and Land) for the shipments consigned to the particular customer
• Knowledge of customs requirements for importing shipment into UAE

Transportation (Local and GCC)
Responsible for the transportation operations both within UAE and GCC candidate must have
experience in the below:

• Truck booking as per requirements and follow ups
• Daily update and follow up to ensure job is done perfectly
• Billing and charges verification
• Communication with the border customs agents and ensuring all requirements are in order for smooth clearance
• Communicating with clients and service provider to make sure all request are done on time and as per the agreed SOPs and KPIs

Freight Forwarding:

• Responsible for handling the Air Freight, Sea Freight (import & export) requirements of the particular customer

Job Requirements:

• The ideal candidate must have at least three (3) to four (4) years of operational experience.
• Understanding of supply chain and logistics is needed
• A college degree is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
• Good communication and organization skills and a strong attention to detail are required.
• The ability to work on a team and leadership experience is strongly desired.
• Candidate should have the ability to learn various computer programs.
