As GCS Technical Implementation Specialist you will be a key member of the MENAT GCS (Global Customer Service) team, leading Implementations in the installation & integration of BD MMS products in the region.
Performing Software Installations, Configuration, Integration, Testing & Training of BD MMS products
Work in close collaboration with key business stakeholders to deliver Implementation Projects from Pre-Sales to Go-live
Closely engage and collaborate with Marketing & Commercial teams to provide domain expertise for pre-sales requirements including customer demos, meetings, IT Reviews and Assessments, tender preparation and other pre-sales support requirements. Translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications to form part of the agreed scope for delivery
Partner with our distributors and customers to provide them a superior Implementation experience and ensure high level of satisfaction. Develop and maintain a strong relationship with all stakeholders
Coordinate with customers & stakeholders in managing projects from pre-planning to execution through follow up by developing and organizing resources, equipment, and timelines with a focus on efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Create project plans using approved templates, agree activities and timelines, maintain project plans & all associated documentation.
Organise and lead customer & stakeholder meetings such as kick-off calls & weekly project calls following the BD methodology for implementations.
Perform regular project status updates and reporting
Liaise and collaborate with the BD Solutions Consultant to facilitate the solution design for product & interfaces.
Serve as the project technical point of contact for customers implementing server hardware, system software products and interfaces.
Setup, implement and support all BD MMS products within the agreed project timelines.
Interacts with multi-function teams at the client site to ensure a successful system implementation
Plan and Perform validation activities to ensure solution is functioning accurately & as per agreed scope, customer expectation & obtain customer sign-off.
Provides support to customers for all technical issues related to the product and resolves these issues in a positive, professional, clear and efficient manner.
Plan, organise & coordinate end user super user training for Pharmacy & Nursing as per BD training methodology
4+ years of relevant work experience with health systems software implementation & HL7 systems interfaces
Demonstrates functional knowledge of hospital level pharmacy workflow processes, hospital formulary build, hospital & pharmacy system integration
Customer interaction experience with Pharmacy & Nursing stakeholders
HIS, PIS, EMR, ORIS systems; e.g. Cerner, Epic, InterSystems
Virtualized environments (ESXi, VMWare, Hyper-V)
IT Networking & Integration
Database platforms (Microsoft SQL Server)
Windows Server environments (2016/2019) & Active Directory
Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Office, Power Point & Excel
Proficient in the English Language both verbal & written
Project management experience with tools (i.e., Smartsheet, MS Project)
40-50% travel expected within the MENAT region
