Job Summary:We are looking for an experienced Assistant Procurement Manager specializing in Electrotechnical components, and a minimum of 2 years of experience in purchasing elements for industrial automation working internationally. In this position, you will play a key role in supporting the procurement activities of the organization. Working closely with the Procurement Manager, this role involves assisting in the procurement process, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, and contributing to the efficient and effective functioning of the procurement function.Key Responsibilities:Purchase Order Processing:Generate and process purchase orders in accordance with procurement policies.Liaise with suppliers to confirm order details, delivery timelines, and resolve any discrepancies.Getting Invoices, Packing list with all details for timely shipments.Vendor Management:Maintain a vendor database, including updating contact information and evaluating supplier performance.Assist in identifying potential new suppliers and distributors for electromechanical Products.Documentation:Prepare and maintain accurate procurement documentation, including contracts, purchase orders, and supplier agreements.Ensure all procurement files are well-organized and compliant with record-keeping standards.Price Negotiation:Support the Procurement Manager in negotiating prices and terms with suppliers to secure advantageous agreements.Compliance:Ensure compliance with organizational procurement policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards.Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting procurement processes.Reporting:Assist in the preparation of procurement-related reports and analysis for management review.Provide input on key performance indicators (KPIs) for procurement activities.Qualifications and Skills:Minimum 2 years of experience with procurement of electrotechnical components for industrial automation.Hands on knowledge of assortment of Phoenix Contact, Wago, Harting, Schroff, Adolf Wurth GmbH & Co. KG, Bossard Holding, Schneider Electric and other key brands of the industry.Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or Automation and related fields.Proven experience in procurement or a related role.Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and regulations.Excellent negotiation and communication skills.Proficient in using procurement software and MS Office Suite.Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Attributes:Proactive and results-oriented.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.Strong ethical standards and integrity.
