About the role:

Baraka is looking for its first addition to the Wealth Management team. You’ll help us build our wealth management products and will be integral to the growth and success of the wealth management feature in our app. You will provide advisor and expertise to our internal stakeholder as well as our external partners and users of our wealth management feature.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide advisory for our internal stakeholders and cross functional teams on building Baraka’s wealth management product and service.
• Offering clients suggestions on various financial products and services
• Assisting clients in the purchase and sale of stocks
• Managing and monitoring investments on behalf of clients

• Analyzing clients’ financial goals and assets allocation.
• investment portfolios and suggesting improvements
• Helping develop effective strategies to increase overall wealth of our clients by examining investment portfolios and suggesting improvements
• Managing assets and setting up investments for clients

• Monitoring the performance of investments for investors under Baraka’s wealth management service.
• Helping resolve any financial issues and other legal complications with investments

What we look for:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, economics, business administration, accounting, or a related field.
• Professional certifications Obtaining industry certifications such as Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or Chartered Wealth Manager (CWM).
• 7- 10 years of experience in the financial services industry, particularly in wealth management, investment management.
• Strong technical and analytical mind with understanding of financial products, investment strategies, risk management and market trends.
• Strong understanding of relevant regulations and compliance requirements in the UAE is essential.
• Great interpersonal skills in order to build a great experience for our clients, stakeholders and users.
