As a Technician Mechanic you will be part of a successful team and will be able to solve more unforeseen problems.
As a Technician Machinist, you will be responsible for:
- Manufacturing and reworking parts from start to finish in a timely manner, according to Baker Oil Tools specifications.
- Checking manufactured parts for accuracy according to QAS procedures.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces.
- Conducting thorough maintenance of machinery and work area.
- Moving parts to and from assigned workstations.
- Performing daily maintenance of machinery; start and observe machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and adjust machine controls.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Have Minimum three years CNC (Mazak Machines) machine operation.
- Have the exposure in selecting, aligning and securing holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines such as mills, lathes,& Honing machines.
- Have the Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Have the ability to apply basic concepts of mathematical calculations while machining the components.
- Have working knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD & T).
- Have a good organization and communication skills.
- Have a positive, self-directed individual who places Baker Oil Tools customers first.
