Responsible for the materials planning & scheduling COE work with the product line and regional team members to develop and implement best practices across the OFS business.
As a Senior Materials Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Communicating business goals, policies, and processes for the business segment.
- Solving problems and developing and executing objectives for self and others through managing by influence.
- Following and implementing all accounting/regulation activities related to inventory and planning activities.
- Monitoring KPIs to analyze and measure performance and propose improvements and action plans
- Establishing consistent improvement processes, driving short-term/long-term capacity planning, inventory, and production control requirements demonstrating strong integration with manufacturing/sourcing teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Determining and apply appropriate optimization methodologies to balance service level, inventory, and cost
- Managing the materials planning and delivery team including employee training, development and career progression.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field or equivalent experience (7+ years experience).
- Have experience in order management, inventory optimization and management, asset utilization, and management
- Have deep knowledge of SAP and MRP functionality (7 to 10 yr.)
- Have strategic thinking with tactical execution with a sense of urgency.
- Have experience and comfortable questioning and influencing stakeholders towards change and positive outcomes
- Have self-discipline and self-motivated with a willingness to work within a group or individually in a multi-discipline environment.
