As a Product Champion for CT tools and Telemetry, you will be part of the Global Coiled Tubing product line Group, based in UAE. The primary functions are to provide Global Technical Support to the regions and countries for Telemetry services and the Coiled Tubing Tools portfolio.
As a Product Champion, you will be responsible for the following:
- Provide remote and on site technical and engineering expertise on coiled tubing tools and telemetry services. Meeting clients for sales and technical presentations as required
- Manage the global pool of Coiled tubing tools & assets, to maximize utilization and deployment. Capturing demand planning from regions on Coiled Tubing tools.
- Oversee the repair and maintenance of the Coiled tubing tools in the UAE workshop.
- Drive actions to improve the effectiveness of new technology introduction and interface with other functions to provide effective coordination of metrics, dashboards, functional processes, and cross-functional initiative coordination.
- Responsibilities of this role include working alongside engineering on the design and test of new technologies, regional readiness for new technology, field test execution on the target markets, and technical support to operations.
- Responsible for the respective portfolio and is designed to assure a high return on technology investment, strengthening the brand equity of the company as a technical leader and improve revenue and margin.
- Develop and/or revise procedures for specific coiled tubing tools & technologies.
- Ensuring that all existing Baker Hughes corporate guidelines, policies and procedures are adhered to during execution of the scope of work.
- Reporting any defects, which may result in an accident/incident including the implementation of the corrective actions.
To succeed in this role, you need to:
- Have bachelor’s in engineering with minimum with 10 yrs’ experience in coiled tubing operations and/or engineering.
- Possess expertise in coiled tubing telemetry systems, including fiber optics.
- Preferably have knowledge of the Baker Hughes coiled tubing tools portfolio (LEGs, Rotojet, Tornado, Telecoil, SandVac, etc)
- Be able to work under minimum supervision and able to travel to countries on short notice (office and field locations) when required. Expect travel 30-50% of the time.
- Be able to understand contractual requirements and commitments.
- Have good communication and interpersonal skills.
