As an End User Specialist, you will play a key role in solving problems and ensuring we deliver an exceptional IT service. You will provide hands-on support to our customers and VIP’s. You will have the opportunity to be involved in technology projects that help us to innovate and improve.
As an End User Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Responding to and track reports from internal and external customers
- Providing initial triage, with goal to handle more issues over time with familiarity/skillset
- Overseeing making sure support is completed in a timely manner and drive the escalations to the closure
- Interacting with customer systems (logins, copying down files, configuring software, etc.)
- Entering bugs and featuring requests in tracking systems to ensure proper closure of the tickets and connecting with SOLV (Inhouse IT support Helpdesk)
- Documenting the problem-solving steps into a growing knowledge base by ensuring the process already in place are followed by respective site support
- Tracking distribution of support issues to look for optimization possibilities of the inventory and support in the region
- Identifying modules having problems, scanning through error logs and source code, helping determine reproduction paths
- Investigating software crashes, and relay the info to SMEs for the solution
- Proactively reducing future support burden and ensuring IT support are given at the best.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a related bachelor’s degree or demonstrate equivalent professional certification?
- Have a minimum 8 years of professional experience in which 1-3 years of experience in sustainment engineering, technical customer support
- Have hands on operations experience with multiple application, OS and network level support
- Have the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical communities
- Have the ability influence and build strong relationships with peers and senior managers in various geographical locations
- Have strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and processes effectively
- Have great attention to detail, experience in tracking multiple sources of information and data points
- Have the ability to work well with a team and focus on customer satisfaction and
