Axios International Hiring for Digital Marketing Intern – Dubai Job at Dubai Full Time

Position Purpose

The purpose of this role is to support Axios in the implementation of its Digital Marketing and Communication strategy. You should be able to act as the face and voice of our brand and manage all community communications.

The jobholder is required to help with daily tasks, according to project deadlines, with clear attention to details and strict quality expectations.

Our ideal candidate has exceptional oral and written communication skills and can develop engaging content.

You should be a ‘people person’ with great customer service skills and the ability to moderate online and offline conversations with our community.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Implement social media and communication campaigns to align with marketing strategies
• Create, manage, and maintain technical marketing elements on social media platforms and corporate website
• Monitor and report on traffic, events, conversion, trends, campaign outcomes, and suggest future approaches based on empirical data (Google Tag Manager, Facebook Pixel, etc.)

• Suggest innovative and/or additional media channels to convey Axios messaging
• Provide engaging text, image, and video content for social media accounts
• Create and/or peer-review content according to current deliverables
• Respond to comments and customer queries in a timely manner
• Monitor and report on feedback and online reviews

• Organize and participate in events to build community and boost brand awareness
• Support on other communications initiatives
• Work closely with the rest of the Communications team to ensure brand consistency
• Liaise with Operations and Digital departments to stay updated on new products and features
• Build relationships with customers, potential customers, industry professionals and journalists

• Stay up to date with digital marketing technology trends

What you will not do

Create decks and presentations. Axios is heavily focused on teamwork and collaboration, and in case of immediate emergencies, we are “all hands-on deck” to support our team members, the role is entirely focused on digital marketing activities.

You will also not be involved in IT or digital development activities.

Relationships

• Work as a unit with the other members of the Communications team (3 members)
• Collaborate closely with Senior Directors of the Business as well as Director of Digital
• Maintain ongoing and frequent communication with all above stakeholders

Requirements and Skills

• Proven work experience in a digital marketing role
• Experience launching community initiatives (e.g., building an online forum, launching an ambassador program, creating an event series, and writing an email newsletter)
• Ability to identify and track relevant community metrics (e.g., repeat attendance at events)

• Excellent verbal and writing communication skills
• Hands on experience with social media management for brands
• Ability to interpret website traffic and online customer engagement metrics. Experience with setting and managing Google Analytics or any other analytics tool is a major plus.
• Knowledge of online marketing and marketing channels
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask

• Degree in Marketing or relevant field
• Proficient in using WordPress

Job Circumstances

• The position is based in our regional office, and it does entail frequent travel to Clients and partners which may be outside your designated region
• Flexibility in ability to travel as well as working hours is essential
