Position OverviewWe are seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to join our dynamic team at Virtusa. This role is essential for ensuring the security and integrity of our cloud-based applications and services.Key ResponsibilitiesEducational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field is required.Certifications: Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Security – Specialty or Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) are advantageous.Communication Skills: Excellent communication abilities are necessary, along with the capacity to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.Work Ethic: The ideal candidate will be organized, independent, and capable of working with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment while adhering to organizational processes and governance.Experience: A minimum of five (5) years of relevant IT experience in deploying and managing applications and services on the cloud is essential.
