Job Description:
Avanceon UAE office is looking for the Lead Instrumentation Engineer for its UAE office. Ideal candidate will be representing the company on site as the installation & construction lead and will be responsible for all planning, management, resources and equipment related to scope of work.
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage installation teams including subcontractors for timely completion of works. Ensure correct equipment and manpower is available at site all the time.
- Ensure compliance with installation procedures, quality standards and safety requirements.
- Coordinate with client site representatives and Avanceon project manager for communicating progress and take necessary measures to overcome any variations.
- Coordinate with Avanceon site engineer and engineering teams to provide support related to constructability challenges and propose solutions
- Compile daily and weekly progress reports.
- Provide technical direction and support to site teams for all works.
- Coordinate with third party vendors at site and ensure any delays related to interfaces are identified in advance and communicated to all stakeholders.
- Coordinate with site engineer for raising client inspection notifications, get all completed works inspected and approved and have any comments resolved diligently.
Qualification/Requirement:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering (B Eng).
- Minimum eight (08) years of working experience in instrumentation design and project deliveries.
- Proficient in the codes and standards in the oil and gas industry i.e. API, BS, ISO, ASME, ANSI, IEC, ISA, IEEE, etc.
- Strong interpersonal skills, a team player, and able to work with all levels of management and multinational staff.
- Can analyze and interpret all project related documents (instrument, electrical, mechanical, piping, etc.) to accurately quantify all controls and instrumentation scope items provided in project work scope requirement.
