Position OverviewThe Automotive Technician is responsible for diagnosing and repairing various mechanical issues in vehicles and machinery. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a strong aptitude for problem-solving.Key ResponsibilitiesVehicle Assessment: Evaluate vehicles and machinery to accurately identify and resolve mechanical problems.Client Interaction: Engage with clients to understand their concerns and determine the necessary repairs.Component Assembly: Assemble mechanical parts according to specified guidelines.Repair Estimates: Provide detailed work estimates and quotes for repair services as needed.Diagnostic Testing: Conduct examinations and oversee diagnostic tests to identify functionality issues.Maintenance Scheduling: Adhere to the maintenance schedule for all tasks and upgrades.Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of repairs and maintenance activities.Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and order new parts as required.Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that all garage tools and equipment are kept clean and in safe working condition.Safety Compliance: Follow company safety policies and procedures diligently.QualificationsSkillsMinimum Qualification: S.S.C/ Trade Certificate/ Vocational Training.Extensive knowledge of vehicle diagnostic tools and mechanical systems.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
