Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Senior Accountant for our Dubai location, primarily responsible for managing the bookkeeping processes for three companies registered with IFZA (International Free Zone Authority).
Responsibilities:
- Oversight of all accounting transactions
- Preparation of essential accounting documents
- Compilation of balance sheets and profit/loss statements
- Management of monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
- Development of budget planning methods for the company
- Handling payroll for employees and preparing decisions regarding dividend payments
- Creation and approval of financial indicator reports, including gross and net profit, profitability, accounts payable, and expenses, among others
- Participation in the evaluation of company audit results
- Collaboration with auditors, contractors, and financial institutions
- Other duties as assigned by management
Requirements and Skills:
- Minimum of 3 years of UAE-based work experience as an Accountant
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Additional certifications are advantageous
- Profound knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and confident computer skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical abilities
