As a Commis 1, you will be responsible for preparing consistently high-quality food preparation, organising the mise en place for your respective section, producing the highest food quality at all times.
As a perfectionist in the kitchen you will be assisting the Sous Chef and Chef de Partie in preparing food according to the requirements, recipes, standards, and the specifications of the department, ensuring that sanitation and safety standards are always followed and maintained. In return, we will make sure you have the right support with the right training and leadership along the way. You will attend both external and internal training courses, developing your skills and fine-tuning your food and beverage acumen. Ideally, we’d love you to have 2-years of work experience in an international cuisine within the Hospitality industry or in a similar role with a proven track record of working in a high-volume restaurant within a 5-star luxury hotel. The successful candidate must possess excellent communication skills, be a team player, manage multiple tasks with confidence and enjoy working in a fast-paced multicultural environment.
