About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Banqueting Operations to oversee our banquet and catering operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and supervising all aspects of our banquet and catering services, ensuring that we provide exceptional service and memorable experiences for our clients and guests.
Role Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all aspects of the banquet and catering operations, including staffing, scheduling, training, and performance management
Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency in service delivery and quality standards
Manage budgets, forecast expenses, and ensure cost-effective operations
Work with the sales and marketing team to develop and execute marketing strategies to promote the banquet and catering services
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including food safety and hygiene
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and partners
Conduct regular audits of operations to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure the continued growth and success of the banquet and catering services
Key Skills and Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business administration, or a related field
At least 7-10 years of experience in luxury banquet and catering operations, with a proven track record of success
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proven experience in budget management and forecasting
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
