The Social Media Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing a social media strategy for a female networking organization with an online presence. The ideal candidate will have experience in social media marketing, content creation, and community management.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute social media campaigns to drive engagement, traffic, and sales on various social media platforms
Develop and maintain a content calendar that aligns with organizational goals and messaging
Create engaging and visually appealing social media content (e.g., posts, stories, videos, graphics)
Manage social media accounts and respond to comments and messages in a timely manner
Analyze social media performance and insights to inform strategy and optimize performance
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute campaigns that support broader organizational goals
Stay up-to-date on social media trends and best practices and incorporate them into the social media strategy
Monitor competitors social media activity and adjust strategy as necessary
Work collaboratively with the marketing team to ensure that social media campaigns align with broader marketing strategies
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in marketing, communications or related field
2+ years of experience in social media marketing
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong visual design skills and experience with graphic design tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)
Familiarity with social media advertising and paid social platform analytics
Experience with community management best practices
Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Buffer, Hootsuite)
Strong analytical skills and experience with social media analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights)
Familiarity with networking and empowerment organizations.
