Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience.
• Responsible for database creation and evolution.
• Design robust APIs to support mobile and desktop clients
• Manage and optimize scalable distributed systems in the cloud
• Optimize databases for performance and scalability
• Compile and analyze data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement
• Develop automated tests to ensure business needs are met, and allow for regression testing
• Write code and tests, build prototypes, resolve issues, and profile and analyze bottlenecks
• Write technical documentation

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience.
• English is required, and Arabic is a plus.
• BS degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or any related field.

Technical Competencies

• Rest API with OOP language using TDD and SOLID principles
• Distributed system knowledge (eg. microservices, service bus)
• Database knowledge (eg. SGBD, NoSQL)
• Unit Tests and Integration Tests Framework for backend
