About This Job:
Astellas is currently hiring a Quality Assurance Specialist to be based in Dubai. The role will be reporting directly into the Quality Assurance Lead, MEA. This will be a fixed term contract position.
Main Purpose of the Position:
To collaborate in further setup, maintenance, and implementation of the pharmaceutical quality management system as well as performance of several measures to secure the Quality Management of the Affiliate and its third parties.
To perform Quality Assurance activities on behalf of the Affiliate.
To support activities to ensure all Astellas products, personnel and third parties conform to the applicable regulatory and company quality assurance requirements.
To support implementation and maintenance of a Quality Management System, which is compliant with applicable GMP and GDP Guidelines, local legislation and Astellas corporate quality assurance requirements and is proportionate to the scope of wholesale distribution and marketing authorisation holder activities undertaken by or on behalf of the affiliate.
Essential Knowledge & Experience:
2-3 years Quality Assurance experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
Understanding of regional GMP/GDP/local requirements & directives and Quality Management Systems is preferable.
Fluency in written and spoken English. Arabic and/or French would be a plus
Excellent communication and presentation skills and ability to develop and maintain good working relations with internal and external stakeholders.
Education to University level (preferably Science degree)
