Position OverviewThe American University in the Emirates (AUE) is seeking a qualified candidate for the role of Professor in Public Relations. This position requires a strong academic background and a commitment to excellence in teaching and research.QualificationsEducational Background: A Ph.D. in Public Relations or a closely related field from an accredited institution in the United States or an internationally recognized university.Doctorate Completion: Candidates must have completed their Ph.D. by the time of recruitment.Graduate Studies: A minimum of 18 credit hours in graduate studies within the relevant discipline.Research Publications: At least two research publications in reputable Scopus-indexed journals.Bilingual Requirement: Proficiency in both English and Arabic is essential.ExperienceA minimum of two years of teaching experience at an internationally accredited university.At least three publications within the last five years.A proven track record of excellence in teaching at both undergraduate and graduate levels.Skills and KnowledgeExpertise in curriculum development and review processes.A record of professional achievements, including peer-reviewed publications.A continued commitment to research and collaboration with faculty members.Ability to effectively integrate digital technology into the classroom environment.A willingness to contribute to the university and college community.Exceptional proficiency in English and communication skills for instruction in English.Strong proficiency in Arabic and communication skills for instruction in Arabic.
