JOB PURPOSE:

Responsible for progress meetings on and off-site, cost control, invoice, variation claims, submittals, and inspections. Also worked closely with other departmental managers to promote overall company effectiveness.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Managing the project team including subcontractors.
• Working closely with clients and consultants to understand their needs.
• Ensuring Projects and Programmers are executed using agreed standards & processes.
• Ensuring Projects are executed as per the approved quality plan and in accordance with safety requirements.
• Review all project documentation.
• Providing a daily plan to site supervisors as per the format set by the project manager.
• Resolve any problems and issues that arose.
• Preparing status reports for use of Management as per the format set by the Project Manager
• Escalating issues and areas of concern to senior managers.
• Ensured staff and sub-contractors timesheets were accurately completed.
• Generating Work Packages and Work Instructions for the site supervisor.
• Provided project support for all off-site activities.
• Ensure the delivery and releasing materials to subcontractors.
• Raising and following all the WIR and MIR.
• Get approval for the MIR as well as the WIR (for installation, final, and snags) within the targeted program set by the project manager.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

• Engineering degree holder or extensive experience in construction, building, or civil/structural
• 10-year experience in the same field/products
• Knowledgeable on AUTOCAD
• High level of computer skills
