Aramex Hiring for Accounting Manager Job at Dubai Full Time

Job Purpose

Manage and develop the accounting team by establishing effective mechanism for proper recognition of all financial transactions and reporting to ensure compliance with Aramex policies and procedures and the international accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and provide advice to accountants to ensure compliance with Aramex policies and procedures and international accounting standards.
• Establishes internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions and budget preparation
• Validate financial data in Aramex financial software and ensure timely and accurate reporting in accordance with Aramex financial policies and procedures.
• Establish and enforce guidelines within the station to ensure reduction of over- heads.
• Presents recommendations to management on short- and long-term financial objectives and policies.
• Ensure that income tax, VAT, and PTT are properly recognized and paid according to local regulations to avoid future penalties.
• Oversee and monitor the credit team to ensure targeted average collection period (ACP)
• Prepare budgets in accordance with Aramex policies and procedures and obtain approvals.
• Ensure that all legal matters are followed-up on and directed through proper channels.
• Manage and provide applicable clarifications of data provided to external auditors to obtain unqualified audit report.
• Motivate and develop staff ensuring that objectives are established and communicated, monitored, and reviewed, to ensure proper reporting.

Job Requirement :

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting.
• English Proficiency
• MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, Power Point & Outlook, ACCPAC is a plus)
• 6 plus years’ Experience in accounting.
• Excellent management and supervisory skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
