As the Africa Finance Business Partner you will be reporting to Africa Head of Sales Finance, business partnering Sales teams and co-operating with different functions in different locations. Besides strong finance fundamentals, this role requires commercial savvy, agility and resilience as you will be working in a very dynamic environment with significant growth opportunities in diverse set of markets. The role offers an opportunity to constantly get involved in commercial debates and requires developing a robust understanding of our markets, business/route-to-market structures, partners, consumer segments, sales actions and initiatives.

Sales finance/commercial finance experience, ideally in a consumer electronics or technology company. Ability to take ownership of all geo-related matters from finance perspective
Ability to assess investment effectiveness for various type of initiatives
Strong commercial competence, translating into a good read of consumer behaviour, consumption habits, and impact of pricing
Ability to understand and keep in perspective channel partners’ financials, motivation and behaviour, besides interaction of different RTMs
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Strong knowledge of Excel, experience with Essbase is a plus
Description
Business partnering with Country Sales teams to set business priorities in a high growth environment via bringing Finance perspective into business development debates In order to drive growth, working with Sales teams to develop initiatives/demand generation activities, preparing cases and post-mortems Preparation of 3-year strategic plans in co-operation with Sales teams Analysing T&Cs, food chains, price walks for various RTMs. Leading the process to develop quarterly plans to spend Business Development Funds in the most effective way Active contribution to Geo Expansion/T&Cs/Distribution projects, leading the finance work streams Analysing business cases for mono brand stores, staffing and programs Preparing Deal Desk analysis for Enterprise/Education deals , proactively leading initiatives to sell LTSI products Actively engaging with partners (carriers/distributors/resellers) Analyse key business trends, evaluate partner/product/initiative performances in the context of prevailing business environment Running Post-mortem analysis for Demand Generation Activities Being an effective leader within a team of high-calibre, demanding, dynamic individuals.
Education & Experience
– Degree and/or MBA required. – Accountancy qualified or working towards accountancy qualification preferred.
