A

s the Head of Product, you will be responsible for all aspects of product development, including brainstorming, design, development, launch, and post-launch analysis. You will have extensive experience in software development, web applications and/or mobile native apps.

I

n addition to being a strategic thinker, the Head of Product must be an excellent communicator, both written and verbal. They will need to be able to clearly articulate the product vision to the team and be able to rally others around the product goals. This person must also be highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• anage and drive a team of talented Product Managers.

• rive strategic innovation to generate new product ideas.

• ather insights from across teams within the organization and conduct external research and usability studies to understand how customers are interacting with the product and develop enhancements based on the results/analysis.

• ontinuously improve existing products and features to drive higher conversion or engagement.

• nternalize and deeply understand 6thstreet mission and strategies, as well as the mission and objectives of your specific team.

• anage all aspects of the product life cycle, including problem definition, product strategy/roadmap, customer needs, requirement/use case definition.

• ring together views and perspectives of stakeholders to gain a wider picture of the landscape surrounding activities.

• se requirements to drive the design or review of test cases, and manage a project’s scope, acceptance, and deployment.

• ollaborate with business, engineering, marketing and content and other internal teams to ensure requirements are understood and defined so that the software team can build against those requirements.

ey Experience & Skills Required

• + years of leading product management teams in an ecommerce set-up, with 10+years of overall experience.

• etail orientated; superior problem solving and organizational and skills; and an ability to conceptualize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects.

• emonstrated leadership skills with a rich blend of analytical, creative, and strategic talents in order to effectively communicate, motivate, and inspire cross-functional teams with professionalism and clarity.

• bility to define and analyze numerous product metrics, ability to think strategically and know when and how to apply each in order to influence the success of the product for opportunities.

• xperience in managing Product Managers and providing best practices in product lifecycle process, discovery/ideation/planning, and building products through agile methodologies

• ech background with a good understanding of data, metrics and building models is preferred.

• he ideal candidate will have relevant experience with business models similar to online marketplaces. Emerging market experience is a big plus.
