Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Public Relations Officer (PRO) to join our team. As a PRO, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our company’s public image and maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders, including clients, media outlets, and the community.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement effective PR strategies and campaigns
Manage media relations and serve as the primary point of contact for media inquiries
Write and distribute press releases, articles, and other PR materials
Organize and coordinate press conferences, events, and promotional activities
Build and maintain relationships with journalists, influencers, and industry professionals
Monitor media coverage and prepare reports on PR activities and results
Assist in crisis management and handle any PR-related issues promptly and professionally
Stay updated on industry trends, news, and best practices in PR and communications
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and brand representation
Maintain a positive and proactive image of the company in all external communications

Candidate Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, or a related field
Proven work experience as a Public Relations Officer or similar role
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal and networking abilities
Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with diverse stakeholders
Familiarity with various media channels and PR tools
Proficient in MS Office and PR software
Exceptional organizational and time management skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
